A woman was shot and killed by her boyfriend, and the murder was captured by her Ring doorbell camera, MTO News has learned.
On January 6, 2021 at 9:35 a.m., officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Division responded to calls of a shooting.

Once they arrived, the officers located a 35-year-old Hispanic woman that had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Based on the video the woman ran from her car to her house as soon as she saw a familiar vehicle pull up into her driveway. Before she could make it inside her home, however, she was shot multiple times by the man and others inside the home could be heard wailing, including a child.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department also responded to the home and the woman was pronounced dead on the scene.

Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives assumed investigative responsibility and their preliminary investigation (which including watching the doorbell video) revealed the victim’s former boyfriend had fired multiple shots at the victim with a semi-automatic handgun – killing her.
